This year Zurka Interactive celebrated Halloween with a bang! Our office participated with the wonderful people from 1Spatial and Upskill in a costume potluck party. We enjoyed delicious food and mingling with the other people at ZWHQ and we are looking forward to the Ugly Sweater Holiday Chili Cookoff soon!

Zurka is proud to announce the launch of the Studio Auroras website. The site is an exposition of and memorial to the work of the artist Ariane Hafizi. It displays more than 100 of her works including drawings, paintings, murals and prints. Developed by Zurka, the design is based on unfinished mockups created by Hafizi herself.

Our new office better accommodates our growing team and is within walking distance of the silver line metro stop Spring Hill Metro. For the building's owner and developer, MRP Realty, it represents a new concept where 10 suites on two floors share common amenities such as conference rooms, lounge areas and cold brew coffee. Additionally, MRP hosts various speakers and events to bring tenants from different companies together and to also foster a sense of community within the space.

In 2002, the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) promulgated Seapower 21, a framework for aligning, organizing and integrating the U.S. Navy to meet the wide variety of challenges that lay ahead. The CNO called upon the entire Navy to find ways to become more efficient and effective. To meet Seapower 21 objectives and to increase efficiency, the NAVSEA Warfare Centers established the Seaport Enhanced (Seaport-e) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) vehicle, using a web-based, e-business procurement portal to facilitate performance-based service acquisition, leverage buying power, improve business intelligence and reduce cycle time.
